Dear SIFMA Colleagues
In an effort to give back to our community and celebrate LGBT Pride month, SIFMA is hosting our first community outreach day and partnering with the Brooklyn Community Pride Center to put together care kits to benefit the LGBT+ community in New York. Brooklyn Community Pride Center is the borough’s premier destination for programs and resources serving our diverse and expansive LGBTQ+ community and advances lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer liberation by celebrating, commemorating, and convening LGBTQ+ Brooklyn through socially conscious and culturally responsive programs, partnerships, and advocacy. The care kits will include items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, socks, and other necessities along with an encouragement card to brighten the recipient’s day.
